ABOUT US

Hi! We're Karen (left) and Sarah (right), the founders of The Wise Parent. We have supported hundreds of families through our Signature Group Program, Private Coaching, and Workshops. Our combined expertise in early childhood development, family systems, psychology, and neuroscience provides a holistic approach to modern parenting challenges. Together, they have developed a blueprint to parenting that combines the latest research and application around respectful wise parenting.

We understand that as parents, it can be challenging to break old cycles from our own childhood and adopt new parenting methods. We noticed that many parents struggle with this and often resort to old methods that don't feel right for them. That's why we are dedicated to empowering parents with the knowledge and tools they need to raise their children in a way that feels authentic and respectful to both the parent and child.

As mothers who juggle work and family, we understand the real-life challenges of parenting. That's why we founded The Wise Parent- so it can be your go-to resource for handling the ups and downs of raising kids. With our combined expertise and research-backed methods, we offer practical and effective guidance to help your family thrive.

MEET KAREN

Karen has an MSc in Early Childhood and Family Development and has a rich background in analytics and strategy. She focused her academic research on how different types of play, such as academic-oriented play versus child-led play, affect a child's emotional regulation and social skills. Karen leverages her degree and experience in strategy and analytics to help families understand how their family structure and surroundings profoundly influence their children’s intrinsic self-perception and worldview.

TOGETHER...

We have a shared vision to empower & inform parents, create resilient families, and, in turn, foster the healthy development of children. We use evidence-based research and techniques to equip parents with the necessary tools to enhance healthy parent-child relationships, raise confident and thriving children, and ensure a positive impact on future generations.

We want to take a moment to share with you the essence of why we proudly carry the title "The Wise Parent"

It's not a title about us; it's a reflection of you, the parents in our community. Our aspiration is to elevate the parent-child relationship, so that it is more deeply rooted in connection, love and wisdom.

When you see "The Wise Parent," it's not a claim of personal wisdom. Instead, it embodies the collective intention we hold for every parent in our community—to embark on this journey of parenting with a blend of wisdom and love. We believe that through our shared experiences and efforts, we can support a community where each parent is empowered to navigate this beautiful (and most challenging) journey with insight and compassion.

Thank you for being an integral part of our community. Let's continue supporting each other on this journey toward becoming not just parents, but wise parents, rooted in connection, curiosity, and love.
